We have achieved a saving of over 100,000 kg of Co2 since installation of our solar panels, and are proud to be contributing to a cleaner healthier environment for current and future generations.
Truck tyre remoulding is already known to be a more environmentally friendly process, saving on waste, energy and fossil fuels. Our mantra has always been to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Some additional examples of our commitment to the environment are:
- Replacing our truck fleet with the latest Euro 6 spec engines
- Replacing company cars with the latest hybrids
- Recycling in the region of 95% of the waste we produce
- Replacing all lighting to low energy LED lighting
The latest achievement of saving over 100,000 kg of Co2 is the equivalent of:
- A 13-watt CF lightbulb running for 896 years continuously
- Taking 20 cars off the road for a year
- The energy of an average house could be met for 7.85 years
- A 42″ LCD TV could be used 69.72 years continuously
