Here at Truck Tyre Specialists we are very proud of our heritage.
Bob Collins and Phil Binning both left Michelin to start the business in 1974 in a converted farm building just outside Weston Super Mare. Starting with just Bob & Phil (both of whom are still actively involved in the business) the business has continued to grow. We now operate from a purpose built 4.5 acre site in Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset and employing around 70 staff.
Over our 40 plus years we have established a reputation for providing high quality remould tyres with a service tailored to meet our customers exacting requirements, offering product in premium bead to bead (hot cure) remould and procure (cold cure) ranges giving us a comprehensive range of tread patterns to suit all relevant operations.
Our products are manufactured using the highest grade rubber compounds available. They are continually being developed through test fitments to improve mileage, traction, and fuel efficiencies. It is proven that we continue to equal or even outperform known brand new tyres.
Our Service
We operate our own fleet of commercial vehicles with dedicated full time driver / sales professionals, who not only deliver our finished product and collect casings from both tyre distributors and fleet operators, but are happy to advise on all tyre matters.
Our representatives have many years of experience in the truck tyre industry offering a wealth of knowledge and able to advise on the most cost effective use of your casings along with recommending the most suitable tread patterns for your operation. They will liaise with tyre distributors on collection and delivery of casings and even bring you to the factory to witness the processing of your tyres.
